i was so delighted when i heard the word "Jungian" during a recent orthodontics/pediatric lectures...i haven't heard anyone, any professor, that is, use the word Jungian in the last two years of dental school. i was delighted, because it brought back the sensation of...."yay!!!!". i get delighted when i hear about philosophers, theorists, critics and the sort. it's my secret passion that i will pursue once i get this dental thing underway. anyhow, the topic of the Jung-Myers-Briggs personality type test came up, and i decided to check it out on the net. there's an, i guess, abbreviated version of the test on humanmetrics.com, and i typed my personality....i was a ENFJ on one day, and an ENTJ the next, apparently. What are you???!!! An ENFJ is a sort of a "teacher" type, and a ENTJ is an ear-nose-throat jerk. just kidding. it's a "fieldmarshal" type. I think the ENFJ is more descriptive of me - when i read some of the in-depth descriptions of what an ENFJ tends to think or do, i thought "THAT'S ME!" at many of them. i definitely do not think of myself as any kind of a marshal at all, except if the noun were qualified with "quiet". i'd be the strong, silent, fieldmarshall. Two L's or one? i don't know.
