today, someone in my class said something so nice to me. it was probably a silly little phrase said without thinking too much, haphazardly, really, but i was touched, inwardly...

anyway, i was drilling away, being all miserable and stuff because my nose was leaking exudate and i couldn't quite get the second plane on my all-ceramic crown preparation, when all of a sudden, my friend looked up from where she was sitting, waved, smiled, and said "hello my favorite friend!". it was sweet. i mean, what an honor to have someone consider you as a very good friend. it's certainly nothing to be taken for granted.

i'll try to write something more acerbic and sarcastic and mean next time. it's hailing outside right now, did you know? it's september. (?)
