all i've ever wanted was a coodly-poodly-cutie-poo cat cat cat MEOW!!!!! i would like a totally smoky-gray kitten - no stripes - who is nice and friendly and warm. i've never had a pet, except when we were babies, we had this huge tank of tropical fish. but unfortunately, me and my very smart brother fed them bread and butter in a not-so-smart move, and then they died. no pets after that - only a gerbil at school, more fish at school, i took care of my friend's budgies and goldfish with HUGE-ass eyeballs that occasionally fell off when her family went on vacation, and during the summer time, i would create mini-environments for snails and caterpillars, only to let them go because they got so lethargic and bored despite my scintillating attempts to make their mini-world inviting - with grass and dirt and ants and water and little red plastic army men. there was actually one summer when all the stray cats in our neighbourhood went wild and apparently did the wild thing many times over, producing at least two litters of kittens, under the porches of the houses on each side of our own. we named one superman - a black and white one (later, supie) - because he came around so often to our house, and for the entire month of august we bought packages of tender vittles and fed the kittens, to my mom's exasperation, who often stepped in cat poo in her bare feet, when she was in the garden. i think i even stepped in cat poo once too...

anyway, now, at the ripe old age of 20-whatever (will not reveal!), whether it's because of my decrepit old age or my bitterly-single status or the wide expanse of a two-bedroom apartment that i presently inhabit, i just want to have a cuddly-wuddly-cutie-wootie-kitty around!!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!

actually, i asked my mom for a cat all during high school, and through most of university, and basically after a few straight-forward no's and reasons such as they shed and blah and blah and blah and blah, i started to act like a cat out of sheer and crazy determination to convince my mom that i wanted a cat, and now, FINALLY, after like a million years, she said i could have one. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!. but now derek's trying to smear cake on me so i have to go now.

AMALGAM TEST TOMORROW!!! boooo.
