you know, every other week we have to tally up what exactly we've completed in clinic thus far. when i look at what i've done on paper, it's not a whole lot. there's a whole lot of treatment planning that takes up x number of hours and labwork that takes up 10x number of hours and lots of phone calling and scheduling that takes up y number of hours and when you fit all those into an elliptical quadratic with tantalizing variables of scrumptious curie-type disintegration, the energy expenditure goes to infinity while the yield is an imaginary number, namely 1/0. the past few months....the past few weeks, in fact, have been filled with a lot of firsts. first operative. first time using the cavitron. first time i felt elated at having used the cavitron to remove a TONNE of calculus (patient said "wow, feels different" and inside i was gleefully happy). i need to synthesize and sift through it, for sure - when i get a moment, i suppose - and the odd lazy sunday afternoon is perfect for things like that - and just reflect on all that has happened fall2004, pharm306y.

anyway, term's not over yet. still 2 weeks of clinic, 2 or some odd weeks of exam hell.
