11 exams somehow studied for and written, and now, three to go. I know the rest of my class is studying, but i cannot bear to touch another piece of paper with 10 point writing on it, highlighted with pink and green and blue and...fuschia...i cannot fathom, no longer, the thought of sitting down on my flat derriere for another few hours, while my vertebrae, via creeping substitution, become increasingly curved and kyphoscoliosed. If i continue this any longer, I will develop malignant hyperthermia, with an acute onset of vasovagal syncope, and then some unlucky person (probably Rosca) will have to put me into the Trendellenburg position (well, ROsca would probably putme in a papoose board) and with the utmost reassurance, place a cool compress to my head.
So, it's 11 pm, and i've decided that I will now sleep, and wake up in about four hours, and read the rest of my operative notes. That's right. those of you that know me and my anal personality about being prepared for exams, I have departed from this crazy notion of "at least read everything before midnight the night before", and i will step into the crazy realm of "READ EVERYTHING THE MORNING OF! HAHAHAHAHHA!!!!".
i think our class is ok, but i may be becoming increasingly crazy. My breaks are now marked by going up to people for no real intention of telling them anything, except to just stand there and kind of go "um, ugh, hi." and lately i've been bombarding certain with delicious odes that i've been writing just for them...incoherent rhyming couples, really...AND, i just ordered myself a thai dinner that i have no intention of eating. i'm not hungry, i'm bloated, and my stomach hurts. but, it's time for dinner, kinda.
well, operative to do, and radiology and pathology left for next week. i hope to finish this exam period with my fac - f-a-c-u-l-t-i-e-s- intact...
yours, JD Salinger.
