i'm finally settling down into my new place...i've had some people over. put up some pics. cleaned a bit. my storage room is still filled to the brim with boxes, and i guess from an objective point of view, my apartment looks sparse, but having moved several times, i've become less attached to things. and i like this sparse, clean, feeling. like starting from scratch. blank slate. no historical baggage. just a few reminders.
i've been studying for quite a while this evening. and all the while, i've been sifting through my classical cds, 5 at a time. if ever i heard genius float through the air, it's through this beatiful cello and piano sonata that i'm listening to right now. if ever i heard the voice of God, it is through Denise Djokic's cello, right now. i need to get a little piano in here, soon. i suppose it is the natural progression of things....if you immerse yourself in cysts of the oral cavity for long enough, sooner or later, you're going to want to jump into the opposite and listen to Brahms. or read a poem. or dance a jig. or bake a turkey.
anyway, back to cysts.
