i've had a week full of people, every weekend full of things to do with no sign of letting up just yet, i bemoan the lack of "me" silent time, and yet at times like right now - compelled to listen to the scientist (you know, coldplay) over and over again - i feel rather alone. actually, it's probably intuitive. i mean, after you see a tonne of people, if you're suddenly thrust back into an empty apartment, you're bound to feel isolated. frontman of coldplay is wailing "nobody said it was easy!!!" and i'm thinking "oh yeah, baby, so true, so true....". that song is like a mini-escapade. it's an entire story, and i totally buy into it. i'm it, the girl in the song. today, right now, anyway. eewwww, that's kind of weird sounding. it reminds me of that ally mcbeal episode where sheri oteri was convinced that Sting was wooing her during one of his concerts and brought him to lawsuit about it. at least i'm not that weird. someone recently told me that they are totally ready for marriage - for living with someone, sharing a life with them. that totally took me off-guard, because it was so unexpected to hear from this person, but the more i mull on that thought, the more i think that it would be rather nice to just have another body about. talk about taking people for granted ("uh, could you just hang around my house as an extra bodily presence? thanks.").
i should probably come back when i have something decent to write about. it's just that song - put me in a contemplative mood. time for a peanutbuttercup and some cherries.
