i am terribly excited....yayayayayaya!!!!! tomorrow is the last day of clinic, and to end it all, there will be a picnic with the qp's in the afternoon. word is that there will be alcoholic beverages, and bahara plans to get smashed. i think it will be a fun afternoon, thereof.

i picked up a few books at the bookstore today. i love buying books at the bookstore, even though you can get discounts online at chapters. i got....two Dr. Phil books. i don't really believe in self-help books, but these two particular books are best-sellers, and they seem really practical. so i decided to give it a try, and read it for fun, at least. the other is the art of seduction (no, it's NOT what you think. it's all about persuasion and stuff, and it seems really interdisciplinary, because a glance at one of the pages cites really interesting information about stuff that seemingly has nothing to do with seduction), and another, one-hundred years of solitude, which won the nobel prize. it's by marquez, i think. i still have to read disgrace, by coetzee, which is a book i picked up last week after i saw, on tvo, this professor named robert allan (he is old and spectacled and whitehaired and has a british accent) lecture on this book, and i was enthralled. so, i'm in the middle of reading it.

ok, gotta go read while eating double cream brie on breton with grapes. YUM!
